Blended courses of Erasmus+ course

The Erasmus + Guide 2021 highlights the option of blended courses. From July 2020 to March 2021, Euneos FI implemented a project in which half of our courses were converted to virtual form. In the project, our trainers and partners also received training in facilitating online sessions.
Euneos FI is ready for blended courses. The need and motivation for them is high. It goes without saying that e-learning needs to increase. That is one of the challenges of our time. At present, however, it is not clear how blended courses can be implemented in practice.
Course organizers who are private companies do not have the opportunity to do online training for schools for free. If the Erasmus + program is to reduce the educational congestion that has accumulated further as a result of the corona, all resources will be needed, including private course providers.
The Erasmus + program is therefore expected to provide options that would also enable private course providers to run blended courses profitably. Motivation exists but incentives are lacking.

Physical mobilities can be blended with virtual ones (Erasmus+ Guide 2021, p. 95)

  • Lead-in online training unit (16-24 hrs), 160 €
  • Completion to full online course (12-20 hrs), 190 €
  • Blended mobility (48 hrs) : lead-in unit + KA1 course on site 650 €
  • Full online training (36 hrs): lead-in unit + completion unit 350 €

If the on-site part of a blended mobility fails because of emergency, the lead-in component can lead to full online course. There should be nothing that prevents schools to use the oprganisational support of their grant for online training during the pandemic. All online courses above can be funded by the organisational support (350€) of Erasmus+ grant, read what the commission says>>

The new Erasmus+ programme 2021-2027 states: ”In addition to physical mobility, all staff mobility activities can be blended with virtual activities.” (Erasmus+ Guide 2021, p. 95)

Those who register for Euneos courses 2021 – 2023 can inform that they are also willing to take an optional online component. Blended courses of Euneos can vary up to the course and trainer. Provided that there are the minimum number of registrants, the online component will be run in the framework of the whole Erasmus+ KA1 course. The course fee of a blended course will be equal to that of a full on-site course.

Euneos teams are experienced to handle big groups from the same school or from a consortium of schools. Euneos trainers can help both on site and online. Euneos’ team of experts can also be invited to organise an Erasmus+ course on-the-spot, tailored together with the inviter.

Euneoscourses 2021 – 23 >>

The Euneos FI course offer is one of the largest and most comprehensive in the Erasmus + program. The course locations are well connected to different parts of Europe. Unfortunately, green travel to Finland is hardly possible within the time allowed by the Erasmus + program.
Erasmus + mobilities are essentially part of the work of teaching staff and they are important in raising European awareness. We therefore hope that anyone interested could have access to our courses.

Supply of online options – explained more in detail

It is possible – to attend courses online according to the NAs by using max 350,00€ / participant on online training. Since July 2020 Euneos has produced a supply of online formats to meet the demand of schools. We can cover the pending mobilities with various options of online training:
– short lead-in online courses,
– completion courses online.
Short courses can lead to blended courses, or – in case of emergency – to full online courses. So, the implementation of pending mobilities is started with a lead-in online course, and finalised either with a KA1 course on site (blended course), or with a full online course. The fee of each option is explained below, and – as you can see – prices are favourable for schools enjoying Erasmus+ funding.

You will soon find out which option suits to you, and Euneos admin can be helpful to you, as always.

If your school is not going to apply for extension for the grant period to attend later courses taking place on a venue, or to attend a blended course consisting of a lead-in course online + course on a venue, then the best option would be to choose a full online course to make use of the grant while it is still valid.

Please check all the current Euneos online course presentations:
Lead-in online training units>>

You will also find the course programmes and planned schedules behind the links.
Online courses will be organized as long as we have the minimum number of participants registered on each session.

Please notice that there will also be full online courses of the same lead-in course topics if there is enough interest on them. So, you may simply start by choosing any lead-in course date, and then after the course is confirmed, we’ll see if there is a need for a full online course as well and agree on the completion course dates with the trainer.

Please read also the statement of the Finnish NA about the use of the grant for virtual activities , published on 29th January, 2021. Then, check out the website of your own NA to find a similar statement. Consult your National agency to know more about the use of Erasmus+ grant for online activities. National agencies>>
It would be beneficial to find a training solution that will work for your team, whether it be a blended course or a full online course.

In case your school intends to apply already for new funding in the Erasmus 2021-2027 programme, please do not hesitate to ask for support materials in https://www.euneosmediacom.

The Commission has published guidelines to ensure the uniform application of EU passenger rights throughout the EU. See also links to travel advice of all EU countries.

Special arrangements due to the pandemic
Whenever you make changes to travel arrangements for any courses, schools need to prefer flexible flight tickets and flexible accommodation. Postponement of Euneos courses may happen due to cancellations while the number of participants goes down the minimum. Refunding of fee will take place if the postponement of the course is not possible. As a course provider Euneos is not responsible for any other costs paid by your Erasmus+ grant.
Euneos FI follows the situation and informs the schools participating in Euneos courses. Our information and actions follow the official advice given by the authorities responsible for the Erasmus+ program.
The European Commission is working on all fronts to support efforts to tackle the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, read more .

Dear Erasmus+ grant holders, To ensure your seat on the courses and sessions of your preference, please make the registration as soon as you have received the grant.
Funded schools can register:

You may simply use terms like participant 1,2,3 at this point when filling in the registration form and then wait to receive a confirmation of your registration via email to the contact person’s email address.

Participant information can be easily modified later, but it is good to know the number of participants joining the courses already at this point.

Please wait with booking flights and accommodation until we tell you it is fine. We shall confirm each session as soon as we have reached the minimum number of participants and then send the information mail telling you how to proceed with practical arrangements.

We are warmly welcoming you and your colleagues to Euneos courses!
